Innovation and sustainability in furniture packaging
We are proud to have participated in Interzum 2025, the world's leading international trade fair for furniture production and interior design. The event took place in Cologne, Germany, from 20 to 23 May 2025.
This edition represented a special milestone for us: Dolphin Pack has participated in Interzum every year since 2005, and 2025 marked the 20^(th) anniversary of our first participation in this event. This confirms how important Interzum is to us as a strategic reference point and the most important international showcase for presenting our innovations.
Interzum 2025 was a resounding success for the furniture industry
The 2025 edition of the trade fair further consolidated its status as the world's premier event for furniture production and interior design suppliers. With over 1,800 exhibitors from more than 60 countries and over 60,000 visitors from around the globe, Interzum provided an extensive insight into the technologies, materials, and solutions that are shaping the future of the industry. The international participation rate was high, with 79% of exhibitors and 76% of visitors coming from abroad, confirming the fair's central global role.
A dynamic and constructive atmosphere saw numerous innovations presented, with a strong synergy between industry and sustainability. The revised format of the fair and its focus on circular and digital solutions set a new standard for the industry.
This year's central theme was “Rethinking Resources: Circular and Biobased Solutions”, focusing on sustainability and the circular economy by promoting responsible production practices and innovative, low-impact materials.
Our packaging solutions for the furniture sector
In line with the values of the fair, this edition presented us with an opportunity to showcase practical solutions that combine efficiency and sustainability.
We exhibited two of our most advanced packaging lines:
- The MISTRAL 3B SERIES S is an automatic line dedicated to packaging sofas and armchairs. It was developed to meet the needs of the furniture sector, offering high performance, maximum product protection and versatile applications.
- The MISTRAL 3B MCL is a solution designed for packaging foam pieces and sheets — perfect for converters and companies operating in the polyurethane foam sector.
During the event, we presented our approach to designing packaging machines, which is based on operational flexibility and integrating solutions that reduce waste and improve efficiency. Our packaging lines are designed to optimise each stage of the process to ensure high-quality production and packaging that protects the product and improves logistics.
